I am a Electrical Engenier in my mid-thirty. A good friend of my referral me to Chinese Acupuncture Clinic for my chronic hepatitis with a severe state of debilitating . I was unable to work for over six months due to the second occurrence of hepatitis with severe fatigue, nausea, vomiting, insomnia and light headaches with tiredness and heaviness of the eyes. My eyes had a yellowing of the sclera. My liver was enlarged, sensitive to touch and give me constant fullness and dull aches in my right mid-abdomen.
After the first six Acupuncture treatments with taking Chinese herbs every day, I felt definite improvement. My color returned to near normal, and my fatigue and nausea was beginning to recede. My headaches disappeared by the first one or two treatments. Blood test ordered by my M.D. showed that the liver enzymes were beginning to return to a normal level.
After fifteen treatments, I was only slightly fatigued, but was still aware of a hardness in the liver area. After twenty six treatments within the span of 60 days, I felt normal. I slept well and had good energy with good appetite returned. Blood test revealed a further improvement in the liver enzyme.
I returned to work on a limited basis. My blood tests were run a third time and revealed that the liver enzyme level was normal.
I went to Acupuncture treatments regularly for a total of thirty-six treatments, from mid-April to the end of July. My condition progressed from severe state of debilitating hepatitis to full recovery of my health, and a return to normal work and activity schedule.
